Rain, I dont mind. Shine the weather’s fine
Rain by the Beatles
If the rain comes
they run and hide their heads
They might as well be dead
If the rain comes
If the rain comes
they slip into the shade
and sip their lemonade
When the sun shines
When the sun shines Rain, I don’t mind
Shine, the weather’s fine I can show you
that when it starts to rain
everything’s the same
I can show you
I can show you Rain, I don’t mind
Shine, the weather’s fine Can you hear me
that when it rains and shines
it’s just a state of mind
Can you hear me
Can you hear me
Sprinkling chocolate on her cappuccinos

New Year, a floating lantern burns out in a bare tree
Its lovely to be out in the company of strangers when a great occasion is to be marked. Before and after the official pyrotechnics on the South Bank of the River Thames, the private floated lanterns headed out on a gentle breeze. This one took to the air in Brockwell Park but caught in a tree. The breeze shifted it to the left and then to the right, dislodging from one branch it made it higher into the tree but caught once more, flickered and eventually died.
